Anniversaries: Lovejoy’s Cakes always provides a bakery box
for your first anniversary cake. To save the top tier of your wedding cake
first place the cake in the provided bakery box. Then place box in your freezer overnight. The following day remove cake from freezer and
wrap frozen cake in plastic wrap, then place cake in a large plastic bag. Seal bag tightly, making sure to get excess
air out of the bag. Place your cake back
in the bakery box and freeze for your first anniversary.
A day before your wedding anniversary, remove
the cake from the freezer, still wrapped, put the cake in the refrigerator to
thaw for 12-14 hours. Then remove cake
from the refrigerator and unwrap it. Let
the cake set at room temperature for about 2 hours before serving. The groom may then serve the cake to his
bride!!
