Dear Lola and the
Lovejoy’s staff,
We were married last October and we ordered our wedding
cake from you. We wanted to thank you
for making the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake that we had every
tasted. Our guests really enjoyed it as
well and we received many compliments on it.
We even got to eat a piece at our reception and we had another piece
later that night. Our family lives
around here so it wasn’t hard to find a home for the leftover pieces. When we were first engaged, everyone told us
that we had to get our cake from Lovejoy’s so we came out and tried the cake
and we were sold-we did ‘t even go to any other cake shops. Since our wedding, we have ordered several
cakes and each one of them has been perfect, but none will ever be quite as
special as our wedding cake. You and
your staff are very talented and we truly believe that there is love put in
each of your cakes as they are the best.
We will recommend your shoppe to anyone we know who is getting

important part of such a special day in our lives.

Dear Lola,
Just a note to tell you that your cake for Opal’s birthday
really went over with the residents at the nursing home. They thought the white one was so moist. You did such a beautiful job of decorating
them with the pastel flowers. The
residents were keeping the flowers and taking them back to their rooms. They are used to getting cakes from HyVee, and Wal-Mart in Marshalltown so your cakes were a
special treat for them Be sure and thank
your staff for the wonderful job they did too!
